Why I’m the right person to help you Be Seen
I’m Sarah Stephens, visibility strategist, PR expert, and fierce champion of brilliant-but-overlooked business owners.
For over 25 years, I’ve helped people and brands be seen in the right way, from global airlines to local entrepreneurs. I’ve won top honours in the European marketing industry awards and was named the best PR agency in the world by my client, Finnair. I’m not new to this.
I’ve written sales and marketing modules for Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School, teaching future leaders how to communicate with clarity and impact. That experience taught me how to simplify even the most complex strategies and break them down in a way that feels manageable, not overwhelming.
I’m also NLP trained, with a strong intuitive sense for what’s really holding someone back from being visible. I don’t just look at the strategy, I see the person. And I help them find a way to show up that feels natural, safe, and right.
For more than 15 of those years, I was the one behind the curtain, the strategist pulling the strings, helping my clients get camera-ready, featured in the press, booked on stages.
They were the ones in the spotlight. I stayed quietly in the background and it worked.
My business grew entirely through referrals and recommendations. I didn’t need to be centre stage.
Then my life shifted, in the most profound and heartbreaking way. I became a mum. Then, I became a bereaved mum.
I lost my daughter. And not long after, I lost my son too. Those experiences changed everything.
They stripped life back to its rawest truth and in that space, I found clarity. I knew I wanted to build something meaningful. Something that would last. A legacy.
That’s when I realised I couldn’t keep hiding.
I trained in public speaking. I wrote and delivered a talk about life after child loss.
I stood on stages and shared my story. I even recently filmed a piece for television.
